Hi, I’m currently a PostDoc at the Technical University of Munich, working with Prof. Nils Thuerey, sponsored by BMW. My interest is in applying machine learning (especially pretrained foundation models) to design optimization tasks, especially aerodynamic shape optimization. Prior to this, I received my Ph.D. in Aerospace Engineering, with a focus on surrogate-based aerodynamic shape optimization for airfoils and wings.

Besides research, I’m a fan of trains and airplanes, and I take photographs of them around the world. You can find out more at my personal website.
